Ever wonder why there aren't many stripbars in Amsterdam? Visit a couple of places and you will find out.

Selina's Bar is a small place with a long bar, a small podium for pole dancing and some relaxing seats at the back of the club. The seats at the back can be shielded with a curtain.

On the night of our visit, there were mainly English speaking girls. I saw four or five girls. None of them look above average, so after paying five euro's for a coke and twenty euro's for a mix, we decided to leave again.

I prefer visiting stripbars instead of the red light district, but the stripbars in Amsterdam seem to lack one thing: quality.

Not as bad as Le Vie en Proost. It is a small joint, but I liked the quality of the service here better (both joints are owned by the same guy) The main difference is that the girls are friendlier, and they werent throwing themselves at us to earn the extra cash for a lapdance. I've been to the one in Rl (LVP) a couple of times, and everytime we encounter the same problem - we stop having fun and start feeling hustled!!! Last time we were with a client, and wanted to show him around. We had plenty of cash to impress the guy. As we sat on the bar, there was an amazing girl i cudnt refuse, so i got the dance for my self along wit h 2 more for my buddies. Shortly after that was over and i was literally distributing the drinks we got from the bar, there was another girl - very good looking offering a dance, and i told her very politely that we'll get one in a few mins since we had just had one each, and we needed another 2 girls for my friends AND that we were just settling in. She kept on insisting despite the fact that I told her that I would get the lapdance in a couple of mins so she pissed me off and I told her no!!! I have been to many stripbars all around the world, and ironically Holland lacks professionalism and ettiquette well at least LVP does for sure
